Volunteers play an integral role in the everyday functioning of IslandWood.
Treat people as if they were what they ought to be, and help them become what they are capable of being.

You will find volunteers active in every aspect - from gardening and landscaping, educational and community programs, to administration and special events. Our volunteers make a positive difference by helping to promote IslandWood's mission "to provide exceptional learning experiences and to inspire lifelong environmental and community stewardship."
At IslandWood, there are volunteer opportunities for:
