Tours
You are invited to register for an informational three-hour walk on our beautiful 255 acres during a scheduled site tour.
- Wear comfortable walking shoes - the walk is moderate (with possible mud, steep hills, and gravel); also, you'll be asked to remove your shoes in some of the buildings, so wear ones that can be easily slipped off and on
- Wear weather-appropriate clothing - much of the tour takes place outdoors
- Water bottles are encouraged; but please no food on the tour
- We ask that no children younger than 13 years old* be brought on the tour - (small child in a carrier is ok) - sorry, no strollers
*Please note - we've found that younger children usually aren't engaged or interested for the 3 hours of information shared on public tours. Check out the link at http://islandwood.org/events to discover family/kid-friendly events.

Multiple site tours are scheduled throughout the month. There are no site tours on IslandWood holidays. Advanced registration is required. Tours are held most Sundays from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. (front gate opens at 12:45 p.m.)
